Meet Dr. Clark

 

Dr. Madison ClarkDr. Clark sub-specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. His residency training was completed at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

 

Following his training, Dr. Clark was the Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. He is currently a clinical assistant professor in facial plastic surgery at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He teaches and gives presentations on Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery locally, regionally, and nationally. He has published more than 30 articles and textbook chapters in this specialty.

 

Dr. Clark's professional mission is to provide the highest quality facial aesthetic/cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in the safest possible environment. His overriding surgical philosophy is to create an artistic balance and harmony with facial plastic surgery. He believes that function should never be sacrificed while creating beauty with surgery (for example, the function of the nose must be a paramount consideration in rhinoplasty surgery).

 

Each patient is treated individually; therefore no single surgical technique is applied to every patient. The surgical plan is carefully crafted to match the desires and goals of each patient.
